What to Expect

Individual nutrition services begin with an hour long comprehensive health assessment where we will explore your relationship with food, diet history, medical history, body image, cultural preferences, and biggest challenges. You will get personalized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations. We will establish realistic goals and create an action plan to help you be successful. 

Change does not happen overnight. Depending on your personal needs, we will conduct weekly or biweekly 30-45 minute follow up sessions for accountability, support, and motivation. I will help you on your journey to wellness and health by providing you with needed support, education, and guidance. Regular support and messaging provided by a secure client portal.  

One-on-one nutrition counseling services are offered virtually.

Nourishing yourself during pregnancy and postpartum can be challenging for a variety of reasons including everything from nausea to sleep deprivation. I can help you learn to nourish yourself confidently and efficiently to help support you during pregnancy and postpartum.

As a Certified Nutrition Support Specialist (CNSC) I can help you with tube feed support to help you find a regimen that works for you.

I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and United Healthcare (UHC). If you have another insurance provider, I can provide you with a superbill (aka a Statement for Insurance Reimbursement) that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.

A majority of insurance plans provide some form of coverage for nutrition therapy provided by a registered dietitian. Contact me if you need help verifying your nutrition benefits with your insurance. 

Self-pay options are available. Initials sessions (55 minutes) are $120 and follow-up sessions (30-45 minutes) are $80. 

  • I can provide you with a a superbill (aka a Statement for Insurance Reimbursement) that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.
  • You can receive a discount for purchasing a nutrition counseling package. Please contact me for more information. 

Anyone can all themselves a nutritionist as it is an unregulated term. Even you can call yourself a nutritionist! 

A registered dietitian (RD) is someone who has completed and maintains rigorous educational and training requirements. 

A registered dietitian completes:
·     A bachelor’s degree at minimum in Nutrition
·     1200 hours of supervised practice
·     A national board exam
·     75 hours of continuing education every 5 years

Registered dietitians are considered the nutrition experts in the medical field.
